Meet Dr. Brian Greenberg

Dr. Greenberg practices at Linden Dental Associates, serving Linden, New Jersey and surrounding communities.

Dr. Brian Greenberg is a specialist in the field of Endodontics (root canal therapy), or simply, our very own Endodontist. Dr. Greenberg uses the very best quality surgical microscope by Carl Zeiss to treat our patients, providing unparalleled magnification and illumination for surgical procedures.

Dr. Greenberg was born and raised in Montreal, Canada, where he graduated with great distinction in 2003 with a B.Sc. in Physiology from McGill University. He earned his DDS degree from Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine in 2007, where he was the recipient of the Division of Excellence in Endodontics. He then trained as a specialist in Endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania, finishing in 2009. That same year, the American Association of Endodontists gave him the AAE/Dentsply Resident Award. The award honored his clinical research on “The Comparison of Anesthetic Efficacy of Articaine and Lidocaine for Inferior Alveolar Nerve Blocks in Patients with Irreversible Pulpitis.”

Dr. Greenberg served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, Department of Endodontics. He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Passaic County Dental Association. Outside the office, Dr. Greenberg enjoys hockey, golf, and spending time with his English bulldog, Winston.

Why microscope endodontics matters to you

Root canals succeed or fail on what the dentist can actually see, and canal anatomy hides details finer than unaided eyes resolve. Dr. Greenberg's Zeiss surgical microscope changes that equation entirely: magnification and illumination that reveal extra canals, hairline fractures, and hidden complexities, treated precisely because they were found at all. For you, the benefit is simple. Your root canal gets done with great care. Your tooth gets protected for the long run. And the specialist doing the work trained at the top of his field.

Award-winning training, brought home to Linden

Distinction has followed Dr. Greenberg at every stage: great distinction at McGill, the Excellence in Endodontics award at Columbia, and the AAE resident research award during his Penn specialty years. Credentials like these usually concentrate in university hospitals and big-city specialty suites. Having them resident in a Linden general practice means this community's root canals get treated at a level most towns must travel for, in a familiar chair, with records and follow-up right down the hall.

If a root canal is in your future, ask for the endodontist with the microscope. Your tooth deserves the specialist standard, and here it comes with a familiar address.

Precision, credentials, and a microscope most cities envy: your root canal has never had better odds than it does in his chair.

Great training shows up in small ways. He takes his time. He checks his work. He explains what he sees. Your tooth gets the care it needs, no more and no less. That is what a true expert looks like in the chair.

Top training. Best tools. Your tooth wins. Simple as that.

Why does all this matter to you? One tooth at a time, it adds up. He sees more. He saves more. Your smile keeps more of what it was born with. Good training is not about the wall of framed papers. It is about the tooth in your mouth, kept for life.
